I leave a response when I especially enjoy a post on a website
or I have something to contribute to the discussion.
Usually it is triggered by the sincerness displayed
in the article I read. And after this article "How To: Easy Fabric Flower Petal Votives".
I was excited enough to drop a comment ;) I actually do have some questions for you
if you don't mind. Could it be simply me or do some of these comments appear like they are left by brain dead visitors? :-P And, if you are posting on additional social sites, I'd like to follow everything new you have to post. Could you list every one of all your shared sites like your Facebook page, twitter feed, or linkedin profile?

I love you camper buses, Anonymous! I love camping, and I love most things Scottish. I wish we had access to them here in Seattle. I don't know if you noticed from some of my blog posts, but I actually lived near you in Glasgow for a while in the early 90s. I attended Glasgow U, where I also met my (American) husband. We love it there and try to get back for visits occasionally.

Thanks for your nice comments about the blog posts too. I don't seem to be able to write things very often, but I do try to make them worth reading, when I do. :-)

These petal votives are absolutely stunning! In fact, I am planning on making these as party favors for my upcoming wedding this summer :) I'd really appreciate it if you could let me know where you bought these specific fabric petals and how did you arrange each votive by color? Thank you in advance :)

Glad you like the votives! I was pretty pleased with the way they turned out. I can't remember exactly where i bought my petals, but I know that there are many craft supply places online where they can be ordered.

I would be sure to buy ones that have gradient color though, since it makes such a pretty effect. I just separated all of the petals into piles based on their hue and then glued one or two rows of each color. Buy enough petals that you can play around with it a little (maybe on a piece of cardboard?) before you commit to gluing anything on the glass itself. Hope that helps!
